
A new green dining trend is taking off in the airline industry led by John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 4. In 2018, JFK Airport Terminal 4 became the world’s first airport terminal with 100% Certified Green Restaurants®. The terminal implemented about 30 environmental steps per restaurant to earn over 3,600 GreenPoints™. The GRA is excited to announce that two new large airports have begun working with the GRA to certify a significant number of restaurants across many terminals. Once all of the restaurants are certified, the GRA looks forward to announcing the airports and terminals.
