During the two years of the pandemic, the GRA invested almost its entire team and thousands of hours into investigating every crevice of progressing the restaurant industry into environmental sustainability. The Green Restaurant Association is proud to announce the launch of its completely updated restaurant sustainability certification standards. The new certification standards reflect scores of new opportunities for restaurants to implement environmental changes in energy, water, waste, disposables, chemicals, food, and building. The GRA is proud of the integrity, rigor, and transparency the new certification standards provide as they reflect the changes that will push the restaurant industry into becoming environmentally sustainable. The Green Restaurant Association applauds its team members for the breadth and depth of work they did to accomplish this monumental project.
